Now into its 4th year, the Constantia Fresh walk-around tasting is one of the most luxurious around. Held at beautiful Buitenverwachting, it gives you the opportunity to taste amazing wines accompanied by canapés made by some of the top chefs in South Africa. And if that weren’t enough, then you also get to stick around afterwards and have a gourmet braai accompanied by even more wines from these top estates.
This year there are more wineries than just those from the Constantia Valley with top Sauvignon producers from around the country joining in (you may even find some overseas wines have sneaked in the back door as well!!). Tickets for this extravaganza cost R400 which may sound a lot but when you consider its for all you can eat and drink for a whole day (ie 2 meals), it’s actually great value.
